Mission Statement
The mission of the Fruit Cove Media Center is to create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment where every student feels valued, appreciated, and empowered to grow. We strive to cultivate a lifelong love of reading, celebrate the diversity of experiences and perspectives within our community, and foster a culture of curiosity, kindness, and respect.
Through access to literature, information, and diverse voices, we increase students’ intellectual curiosity, emotional intelligence, perspective-taking, and evidence-based reasoning. Our library exists not only to support students as learners, but to help them become compassionate, informed, and confident individuals who are prepared to engage meaningfully with the world around them.

Policies and Procedures
Students can check out up to 3 books. Books are due in 2 weeks.
Books can be renewed as many times as you’d like, as long as that book is not on hold for another student.
The media center is open 7:10-2:00.
Students may visit the media center before school, during lunch, after school, and during class with permission from their teachers.
