Boys and Girls Track & Field Flyers Information

Calling all Sprinters and Mid Distance runners!!  We are very excited to be able to offer the Track and Field opportunity here at FCMS. Through this program your child will learn about and work on four components of fitness. Aerobic conditioning, muscular fitness, flexibility, and stability/balance (core strength). Our goal is for the students to enjoy the sport of track and field while learning their own physical fitness and nutritional needs. In order to achieve our goal, we will implement a variety of workouts that will challenge them on all levels of fitness. We will compete in the long jump, shot put, 100, 200, 400, 800, Mile, and relays of each.

ALL students interested in running track may join the Boys and Girls Track and Field team. A competitive team will be offered for those wanting to race and compete in the state series. 

Requirements: PLEASE PRINT AND FILL OUT THE FOLLOWING FHSAA SPORTS PHYSICAL EVALUATION FORM (see right sidebar). For participation form and fees  please be sure to contact Coach Benavides.
