Morning Announcements

National Junior Honor Society, WEB, and the B6 Club are sponsoring a pet supply drive to benefit the St. Johns Pet Adoption Center. The drive will run from Monday, February 26 through Thursday, March 7. Food, toys, treats, old towels or blankets, dishes, collars, leashes, new or slightly used bedding and carriers are needed. Bring your donations to your homeroom. The homeroom with the most donations will receive a cookie treat!

Students: There are less than 100 yearbooks left. Check the Fruit Cove website or newsletter for how to purchase. Once they sell out there will be no other way to get one. Don’t delay, order today.

The Flyers Boys basketball team beat Gamble Rogers last night 38-11 Improving to 5 and 4 on the season. Leading stat earners in last night’s win were Dom Lizzmore with 7 points and Nixson Poppinga with 6 points. Also congratulations to the girls’ basketball team for their win over Gamble Rogers 28-6. The top scorers were Abby Miller with 5 points and Maya Geerdes with 10 points. Congratulations girls on your win, keep up the good work!! The teams will play at Murray Middle School tomorrow night.

The Flyer boys basketball team beat Pacetti ay last night 50-38 in a thrilling match up. Leading stat earners were Zander Stewart with 13 points and Nixson Poppinga with 10 points. The boys improve their record to 4 and 3 and will face Swiss point next Thursday night. Thank you to all teachers and staff who came out, we appreciate all of you.
