Friday September 5 is the last day to submit an application for the National Junior Honor Society. Applications are available from Mrs. Doemel, Ms. Farbo, and on the FCMS website under Clubs. Late applications will not be accepted.

Fellowship of Christian Athletes will meet today after school in the MPR room from 1-2 pm. All students are welcome. If you would like to have fun and fellowship with your peers, please join us. Required permission forms are on our school website under school clubs and should be turned into Coach Jill Benavides in room 570 before September 3. If you are interested in trying out for Girls’ or Boys’ Volleyball, please pick up a tryout waiver Form and Tryout Information sheet in the gym. Please turn in the waiver form to Coach Richardson before tryouts.

All current NJHS must attend the mandatory meeting after school today in the cafeteria for a 30 minute meeting. An informational meeting for parents and students wanting to join the National Junior Honor Society will also be held on Thursday, August 21, at 5:30 in the school auditorium. This meeting should last about 45 minutes and applications will be handed out at the meeting.

Cross Country begins August 25. If you are a runner or want to strengthen your endurance for your primary sport, see Mrs. Benavides in room 570 for forms and training times.
