October 8, 2021

  1. NJHS and WEB are sponsoring a sock drive. It will run through today. Please bring in any new or slightly used socks to your homeroom teacher. The grade level homerooms which bring in the most socks will receive donuts! There will be prizes for second place homerooms as well. All donated socks will go to homeless shelters in the area.
  2. Today is the last day of our fundraiser, so make sure you get any last-minute orders in! Congratulations, you did it! Thanks for a job well done. A special thanks to the students and your parents, teachers and administrators and everyone else who participated in the fundraiser!”

  1. If you’re interested in joining the Art Club. Sign up at Ms. Cohen’s class, room 755. The club will meet every Tuesday starting October 12th from 1:55 until 2:50.
  2. Attention 6th 7th and 8th Grade. There will be a Drama Club meeting today. Please attend if you were unable to on Tuesday. Meeting is from 2 til 3. Please plan for a way home.
  3. NJHS and WEB are sponsoring a sock drive. It will run through Friday, October 8th. Please bring in any new or slightly used socks to your homeroom teacher. The grade level homerooms which bring in the most socks will receive donuts! There will be prizes for second place homerooms as well. All donated socks will go to homeless shelters in the area.
  4. Tomorrow is the end of our fundraiser! Remember, you can keep selling tonight. Keep in mind you get credits for prizes from every item you sell

  3. Be sure to ask your parents to purchase items for themselves and its a good time to get some holiday shopping done too! Your parents can also bring your catalogs to work to show their co-workers! Remember, if every family buys 1 item, our school will get more items to spend on our school and your education!”

  1. The B6 Club will have our first meeting on today, September 30 in Portable 8 right after school. We are a leadership club with a focus on serving our community. Please stop by Portable 8 to see Mrs. Bass or Mrs. Carroll in room 660 with any questions or to pick up an application.
  2. Our first “Cookie Friday” will take place this Friday, October 1st. You can purchase a cookie using your Pilot Points in PBIS Rewards App. Cookies will cost 10 points and can be purchased in the PBIS Rewards App between today at 3:00 PM and Thursday at 3:00 PM. You will receive your Cookie Pass on Friday morning, in homeroom, and you will turn it in at lunch for your cookie.
