Congratulations to FCMS XC runners who ran at the Gamble Rogers 3K meet on Wednesday. Bryce Cunningham #10 and Casey Conover #6 placed in the top 10 in the boys Race. Wallen Westlyn placed #10 in the girls race. Congrats also to Megan Hart, Anna Whitmann, Jayden Woodall, Parker Waugh and Mudil Nair who set new PRs! Well done runners!!
The National Junior Honor Society is once again holding a Veteran’s Door decorating contest. The contest begins on November 1 and will run through November 9. All members of NJHS are required to participate in this event. Please go to the Schoology site and sign up for a door. Two members per door. Remember, all members must sign up and participate in this event.
Flyer Girls and Boys Volleyball played had a two-game sweep against the Murray Bulldogs last night . The Girls won with a record of 5-5 and the Boys remain undefeated with a record of 10-0. Lead stat earners for the girls were: Emily Kime with 13 aces and 3 assists, Maya Geerdes with 4 kills, Brianna McNulty with 3 assists, and Emma Kelley with 8 digs. Lead stat earners for the boys were: Brayden Carroll with 6 kills, Jay Balakumar with 5 Kills, Cameron Parish with 8 assists, and Carson McKitterick with 3 digs. The Flyer Volleyball Teams will play Home against the Landrum Lions next Thursday, November 2nd. The theme for the night is Hawaiian attire, so come out with your best Hawaiian outfit and show support for the teams! Girls’ play at 5:30 and Boys’ play at 6:30.
