Flyer boys basketball team lost to Landrum last night 40 to 28. Leading stat earner for the boys was Nixson Poppinga with 10 points 7 rebounds. The boys take on Sebastian tomorrow night looking to finish out the regular season on a high note. The theme for the night is 8th grade night so we hope to see all teachers and students out supporting our 8th graders in their final home game.
National Junior Honor Society, WEB, and the B6 Club are sponsoring a pet supply drive to benefit the St. Johns Pet Adoption Center. The drive will run through Thursday, March 7. Food, toys, treats, old towels or blankets, dishes, collars, leashes, new or slightly used bedding and carriers are needed. Bring your donations to your homeroom. The homeroom with the most donations will receive a cookie treat!
Attention 8th Grade Students planning to attend the end of the year trip to SeaWorld GradTastic on May 17, the permission slip and payment are due March 8. That deadline is quickly approaching. See Ms. Carroll in Portable 4 if you have any questions and/or concerns.
