Our Flyer girls won 30 to 22 last night against the Murray bulldogs. Leading scorers were Ashini Yalmanchi and Emma Godfrey. They improve their record to 2 and 1 on the season. Our flyer boys lost a hard-fought game to Murray 41 to 38 The Leading scorer for the boy’s team was Amari Isom. The boys fall to 1 and 2 on the season. Both teams are back in action Thursday night on the road against the Landrum Lions.
After school tutoring will be held in Ms. Farbo’s room today and Thursday this week.
As part of Celebrate Literacy Week in Florida, today a passage from a book or document will be read aloud. Each homeroom class will guess the name of the book or document and the name of the guest reader. The class that emails their guess to Jennifer Jaeger (after the passage is read) will win a cookie party.
