As a member of the School Advisory Council, you can help discover ways to improve the education of students in our school. You can also represent the views of others in the community and encourage their participation in the school. By valuing and respecting everyone’s views, you can also help the council create a partnership among the school, the students’ families, and the community. Such a partnership can help all students become well-educated, well-adjusted, and productive citizens. When the entire school community works together to support learning, children tend to succeed, not just in school but throughout their lives. Your participation in this process is crucial.
